How to use the test pen
Electric pen for short, is a common tool used to check and measure whether low-voltage conductors and electrical equipment casings are live. As an ordinary electric test pen, the measurement voltage range is between 60-500 volts. When the voltage is lower than 60 volts, the neon bulb of the electric test pen may not emit light. If it is higher than 500 volts, it cannot be measured with an ordinary electric test pen, otherwise it will easily cause electric shock.
1. Button description:
(A key) DIRECT, direct measurement key (far away from the LCD screen), that is, when using the batch head to directly touch the line, please press this button;
(B key) INDUCTANCE, the induction measurement button (closer to the LCD screen), that is, when using the batch head to sense the contact line, please press this button.
Note: No matter how the electric pen is printed, please recognize that the one farther from the LCD screen is the direct measurement key; the one closer to the LCD is the sensor key!
2. This test pen is suitable for direct detection of 12-250v AC and DC current and indirect detection of AC zero line, phase line and breakpoint.
3. Direct detection
a. The last number is the measured voltage value;
b. When the display value of the high segment is less than 70 percent , the low segment value is displayed;
4. Indirect detection: Press and hold the B key, and place the batch head close to the power cord. If the power cord is charged, the high voltage symbol will be displayed on the display of the digital display pen.
5. Breakpoint detection: Press and hold the B key and move longitudinally along the wire, and there is no display in the display window, which is the breakpoint.
